Turning a Hard-to-Manage Fence Line Into a Low-Maintenance Garden

Some yards have that one spot that never quite works - the narrow strip along the fence that's awkward to mow, prone to weeds, and just kind of an eyesore. That's exactly what we were dealing with here. The perimeter along this fence line needed a real fix, not just a cleanup.

We started by stripping out the old grass along the fence line using a power sod cutter.
