Landscape beds have a way of getting away from you fast. One season of neglect and what used to look tidy starts looking wild - weeds creeping in, plants outgrowing their space, and the whole bed losing its shape. It's one of the most common things we see, and honestly, one of the most satisfying to fix.

This is a great example of what a solid landscape cleanup can do. The bed has been cleared out, the plants are tidied up, and a fresh layer of dark mulch has been laid down across the whole area. That mulch does more than just look good - it holds moisture, suppresses weed growth, and gives the plants a healthier environment to grow in going forward.

What we really love about this kind of work is how much easier it makes ongoing maintenance. When a bed is overgrown and chaotic, every visit takes longer. But once everything is cleaned up and reset, regular garden maintenance becomes quicker and more straightforward. You're not fighting the yard anymore - you're just keeping up with it.

The Japanese maple and surrounding shrubs have room to breathe now. The rock accents are visible again. The edge between the lawn and the bed is clean and defined. Small details like that are what separate a yard that looks cared for from one that just looks mowed.

A landscape cleanup like this is a reset button. It gets things back to a baseline where the yard can actually look its best - and stay that way with regular attention.
